At Home Custom Container Gardening
Choose from one of three Style Options detailed below to best suit your lifestyle & budget. No fuss, no muss and we take care of all the details.
Expect lushly full pots following great design principles: Thrillers, Fillers and Spillers. For vertical height, we use Branches (Birch, Red Dogwood,Curly Willow). Evergreen boughs (Cedar, Pine, Fir, Oregonia, Boxwood, Magnolia etc) provide the "Fill" and "Spill". Choosing from a wide array, the pots are then embellished with berries, cones, strobus, grapevine balls, etc.
Our formula is fairly straightforward as you move from "Basic" pots to "Deluxe" Pots. Basic Pots have six components and Deluxe pots have 12 components.
We weight the pots, use an anti-dessicant spray so that they last longer and coordinate the colours with your facade. We use top-grade local boughs and branches from Ontario, BC, Washington, California and South Carolina.
There is no maintenance required for Winter Pots.

Basic Wintry
BC Cedar, BC Pine and Oregonia Evergreen Boughs with Natural Curly Willow embellished with Ivory Frost Proof Berries & Natural Strobus Cones.
Intermediate Wintry

Deluxe Wintry

Muskoka Basic

Muskoka Intermediate

Muskoka Deluxe
BC Cedar, Incense Cedar, BC Pine, Oregonia & Magnolia Tips Evergreen Boughs, Red Dogwood with 4 ft Birch Poles and Natural Curly Willow Branches embellished with Red Frost Proof Berries, White Tipped Pine Cones, Wood Slices and White Grapevine Balls.
As our Winter Custom Container Gardening Cycle begins next week, please confirm your preferences at your earliest convenience.

Please provide up-to-date payment information as well. Credit Card info is required prior to planting.
Schedule
We keep the cost of Custom Planting lower and reduce our carbon footprint by grouping our clients in geographic area.
Our schedule is:
Week starting Nov. 11th: North of Markham
Week starting Nov. 18: Markham and South of Markham
A premium will be charged for clients who request off-cycle dates as extra travel time is incurred. With frequent weather changes and a compressed season, it is hard to specify arrival times so if you wish to be present while we arrange, we kindly ask that you adjust your schedule to meet ours.
Additional Fees will be charged for :
Removal of previous season's debris is $15 per pot. If the pots have not been emptied and are frozen, please expect a surcharge.
Pot sizes are based on round shapes with a three-quarter, front-facing view. If you want a 360 degree view, there is a $25 premium. Square pots take 25% more material so expect a $25 premium. Each addition two inches of pot sizes increases your cost by $20. If you need window boxes or rectangles, please provide the dimensions required.
Outdoor lights with Batteries on Timers are available with an additional charge of $20 per pot (Batteries Included)
Anticipate that if we need extra drive time outside the City of Markham, there will be an additional charge.
If you wish to use last season's embellishments, please leave them outside so that they are readily accessible. Kindly understand that we will augment your used embellishments and they will not decrease the base rate. Our experience has been that untangling to reuse materials especially dried-out branches has proven more costly than effective.
